books are fun. however, expensive ones are not.

well, i wasn't able to go to the football game because of the rain. so i sat on the couch at stared at mom until she got annoyed and decided we should go somewhere.

so we went to Home Spun and sat in the back in the corner and talked about my religious history class. and i ate fries and a salad, while mom had some weird salad thing with spinach in it (ew).

then mom had the brillant idea to go to the new Barnes and Noble at the mall. so we went, we looked, we bitched about prices, and we left. at which point we went across the street to Borders and bought $24 worth of cds and books. 2 cds for me (Reel Big Fish "Turn the Radio Off" and Bouncing Souls "the good, the bad, and the argyle"), and a cd and book for mom.

i looked for "War and Peace" at Borders, but they didn't have it. they had it at Barnes and Noble though. $14. la la la rip-off.

so, earlier i went to class. it was fun. Kevin from Shakespeare is taking that class too, which is cool, cuz then i know someone. but anyway, the class is fun, history!prof is amusing, and the people in the class seem like they won't suck. which is good.

and there's so many cute girls in that class.

...

anyway. mom is useless sometimes. today as we were driving, it was raining, which in that case, one would use their windshield wipers. right? well, i suppose you would if you're not mom. she never uses them. so i just sit there and play with the controls as she looks aimlessly around at anything except the road as she drives.

i have no clue why she hasn't been in any accidents..
