i got a snappy new coat. as new as i'll get anyway. $5 at the salvation army. its dark blue, just past knee length and the lining on the inside rocks my world with its shiny vertical maroon and black stripes. its very snappy. its a proverbial kick in the bum to everyone who thinks i can't dress. which sometimes also includes me.

i got quite a few new (thrift store) clothes over the weekend. aside from my snappy new coat, i got another flannel, a dark green long sleeve that is quite cool, and two sweaters; green and white, and the other green. the green one is nice. all the stuff is quite lovely. and i love green.

i can't get over the fact that my coat is so damn snappy. plus its a really good brand worth much more than its measely $5.

saturday i sat in the cold (and snow) watching the marching competetion at hastings. it was lovely. afterwards we stopped by grandpa's but they weren't home.

i have homework i should be doing. i should probably do it too since its for my research report for class. its on body modification. hooray for being able to pick your own topics.
