well, its saturday and you know what that means: thrift store day! that�s right. i am now the proud owner of: a remington typewriter ($2.50), a belt ($.50), a pair of black suspenders (why the hell not, right? $.99), and siouxsie & the banshees �kiss them for me�, bjork �post�, beat happening �dreamy�, the candy skins �space i�m in�, and oingo boingo �dead man�s party� (all $1.99).

so, i�m pretty damn happy about my purchases. especially the typewriter. its even better because it works.

mom and i drove over to marshall to go to the goodwill there (that store doesn�t comply to the �rule of goodwills� that i made up. namely, it has to be slightly dingy and it must smell funny. maybe they didn�t get the memo..). anyway. on the way there, we passed this church and on its sign, it read �it wasn�t raining when god built the ark�. um. yeah.

i also went to the art store and bought some more canvas. i think i'll do more painting tomorrow. and put the finishing spray of some of my other paintings.

oo, mom just brought me a present. "Hostelling International: europe" granted, its for 1997, but it'll still be interesting to read.

heh, i'm all very happy right now. kylie minogue is on snl tonight! she's very enjoyable and makes me wanna dance.
