yesterday, mom told us she would take us out to brunch about 11am today.

it's 10:55am. after "marco polo-ing" around the house (something mom and i do when we're bored, like in the car. also something we do if we can't find each other, like in a store, the car, or the house and we need to say/ask something/etc) i just found a note sitting on her computer desk saying (and i quote): "i went to an auction - be back around 1:00 - let's go out & eat when i get back -mom" (yes, she wrote it with the dashes and no punctuation. she's like that)

frankly, i find that to be just rude.

she couldn't even ask me if i wanted to go to the auction? i would have went.

now, if you don't mind, i'm gonna go bust out some kung-fu moves on 'metal gear solid 2' (why use the tranquilizer gun when you can bust out the kung-fu?)
