would you like to hear a story? its not really a story.. not like "once upon a time" or something like that.

ok. so. i rented 'boys don't cry' this weekend. well, when i was a senior in high school (many moons ago), is when i actually started coming out to people. one of the first people i told (besides my mom, who i told first), was my friend sarah. and for being a jesus loving freak (and i mean that in the kindest way possible), she took it pretty damn well, and never told me anything like "you're going to hell" etc. which, if she had said something like that, i probably would have kicked her. and we even made little gay references at school.. it was fun. well, not long after i told her that i'm a big ol' dyke, she taped an episode of 'Leeza' (is that show even on anymore? geez..)for me, was about Brandon Teena (Teena Brandon), who the movie 'boys don't cry' is about. and if you haven't had a chance to see it yet, go rent it. very moving, and i cry everytime i see it too.
