yesterday (and most of monday), my computer was plagued by the Blue Screen of Death. the one where you have a choice of three things to do:

1. randomly push any button. returns you to the Blue Screen of Death.

2. ctrl+alt+del. restarts your computer. then returns you to the Blue Screen of Death.

3. hit the power switch on the surge protector. turn the computer back on. returns you to the Blue Screen of Death.

oddly enough, my computer is working now. the power went out this morning for a few minutes, and when it came back on, my computer booted up, and is running fine. well, as fine as it's always ran.

huh.
