music: "paper thin" by Hot Water Music

i just went to the kitchen to make some grits, but i couldn't find a clean pan. i could find two dirty ones though. but since i'm too lazy today to bother washing a pan, i put a bagel in the toaster. because that is just so much easier. unless, you have our toaster, which is just a complete and total bitchass. you could put it on the lowest setting, yet it could still burn the food severely. its like playing the slot machine. you never know what you're gonna get. most of the time, you're just gonna get fucked over.

a week from this friday, alice and i are driving mom to ann arbor. mom and my uber-aunt are going to texas for a little more than a week. which means i get money and use of the car. too bad i don't have anywhere to go.

so, i called about that job installing fences. it was already filled. drat. there are some other jobs i might call about today.

what'd i do this weekend? ah yes. went to thrift stores. 7 of 'em to be exact. 6 on saturday, 1 on sunday. i was on a quest for pants. however, the thrifting deity wasn't on my side for that, and i didn't find any pants. although, i did get some shirts (2 soccer jerseys, 2 t-shirts), another coat (black trench coat with fuzzy red liner), and some books.

yay for me. i really enjoy my new coat. and it was only $1.

i really don't have much else to say. i still want some grits though. hm. maybe i'll get motivated enough to do some dishes.
