i made my mix tape earlier. all it is is oingo boingo, siouxsie & the banshees, bjork, spleen, sonic youth, unrest, and 7 year bitch. a 90 minute mix tape with 7 bands. though to be fair, oingo boingo and sonic youth tend to have long songs. and i did put 5 oingo boingo songs on there. but they rock damnit.

i might make another mix tape later. what shall i put on it? i do not know. it may consist of even more sonic youth.

i wish it was nice out. i want to be able to sleep with my window open at night. but nooo... last night we had a freeze/frost advisory. fucking hell! i know its michigan, but it is may. it is getting close to the end of may even.

ah yes. i got some copies of 'mother earth news' today from my texas grandma. wee! now i too can learn how to build adobe and rammed earth homes, choose the best tractor, grow okra, build better communities and how to harvest morel mushrooms. mm, mushrooms.

and truthfully, there was no sarcasm in that previous paragraph. i find all that stuff interesting. and useful. how many of you can say that you know how to build an adobe home? hands? anyone? yeah, that's what i thought.
