another bat tidbit: bats are attracted to fans. they feel the breeze and think that it means the window is open. when in reality, it means that there's a fan in the window, but they don't know this, and they fly right into the fan and die a quick bloody death. cuz they were chopped up.

how do i know this? well, saturday night, the brother had a bat upstairs. he got the bat locked in the kitchen up there, but then (because he's an idiot), he must have let him out sometime last night. because he woke up in the middle of the night, came downstairs and slept on the couch. because he thought he heard the bat in his fan. so this morning, we go up, and lo and behold! a bat in the fan! chopped bat! and so we threw the fan outside for the garbage man.

and that was my day.
