spring break is over. and now i'm home. as it goes.

-working a 16.5 hour day in two different theaters.

-watching the ballet rehearsals over and over.

-sitting in a diner in a podunk town in west virgina, looking completely out of place with tattoos and piercings and chains and spikes.

-being stranded in a town in north carolina because they don't know how to drive in 2.5 inches of snow.

-falling asleep while standing up, in the cleveland bus station at 3am.

-waking up on a couch in north carolina. the sun streaming in through the window. wind chimes tinkling. two cats (woodrow and gus) using you as a pillow.

-buying albums for dirt cheap in cincinnati. don mclean. carol king. elton john. prince.

-watching the thunder and lightning from a dark house. lighting up the sky outside so bright.

-sitting in a bus on the side of the road with no heat and a cold rain outside.

-sitting in knoxville with a bunch of marines. watching as one, 19 if a day, makes sure his little copy of the bible is secure in his pocket. and another just graduated boot camp last month and looks scared out of his mind.
