so. last night (technically very early this morning), i was savagely mauled by a bat in my room. actually.. 'savagely' is too strong a word.. and so is 'mauled'. but! there was a bat in my room. and it did swoop down over my head. so i guess i should say i was "freaked the fuck out" by a bat. IN. MY. ROOM. i was sleeping, when i heard this noise, so i woke up and i saw this shadow swoop over my head and then fly towards the other side of my room by my computer. it sounded like a bat (we've had quite a few in the home), so i went "eeee!" (not the kind of 'eee!' that i usually proclaim when, let's say, i see kylie minogue. but more of an 'eee!' when i see a bat! in my room!) and so then, i ducked under my comforter, tucked myself all in, laid stock still, and after 5 mintues fell back asleep.

you know, when its about 70 degrees outside, and for some reason about 10 degrees hotter in your room, its not a wise idea to be completely wrapped up (head to toe) in a comforter. because then, you can not breathe and no fresh air gets to you. and so then, its about 90 degrees and it sucks ass. but its better than the bat.

and then i woke up at 6am (i fell asleep at 7pm friday night), sat outside and ate a bowl of lucky charms, then watched cartoons while i waited for mom to wake up. she was completely wigged out to see me already up and dressed when she woke up at 7.

and so today.. blah blah blah.. went to the arts and crafts fair in augusta.. i bought this ring.. it used to be the handle of a spoon. its pretty cool.

not long ago, i got back from the store, where i bought a new shirt, a yard of good heave and sturdy fabric, a spool of thread, and some snap button thingys. i'm gonna sew some cargo pockets onto a pair of pants. yay me! all sewing.

i'm watcing a re-run of Buffy right now. the episode 'Dead man's party'. hehe.. buffy is getting bitched at by her mom and willow. everytime i see this episode, i think buffy and willow should makeout, cuz you know, hot girl on girl action! woo! but nooo... we don't get any hot girl on girl action.. we get zombies. pfft.
